In 2024, ACCEL SPIRIT launched its production line in Taiwan, localizing the BRPV system and bringing this breakthrough innovation into full-scale deployment.

Safety voltage

The DC side adopts a low-voltage series-parallel design below 48 volts to eliminate concerns about electric shock, leakage, and fire.

Green building materials

Class A flameproof, IPx3 waterproof, resistant to 16-level strong wind, walkable and resistant to trampling without hidden cracks, 30-year warranty and 100% recyclable.

Efficient power generation

48V low-voltage series-parallel connection and micro-inverter management enable power generation even at low light levels and are not affected by the barrel effect. A self-cleaning system is also provided to maintain high-efficiency operation.

Low Maintenance Requirement

The frameless design does not allow dust to accumulate on the bottom, and the surface is made of self-cleaning tempered glass. It can bear more than 70kg per square meter and can be stepped on directly, meeting the needs of firefighting and maintenance work.
The system monitors at the "component level" to grasp the real-time output of each solar panel, avoiding the "barrel effect" caused by defected component performance.

The BRPV Safe Power Generation System is built upon three core technologies developed by ACCEL SPIRIT Technology:

  • Building-reinforced BRPV solar roof and solar wall systems

  • Module-level intelligent inverter system

  • Smart building energy storage system

 

Designed with the concept of "self-generation for self-consumption, with surplus power fed into the grid,"

the BRPV system operates at a safe 48V voltage, ensuring low transmission loss while complying with building material regulations. It transforms buildings from energy consumers into energy producers.

By integrating scattered rooftops and walls—previously considered dead spaces—into a safe, decarbonized, and interconnected energy network, the BRPV system contributes to both public and national welfare.

Technical Validation & Localization in Taiwan

 

To fine-tune system performance for Taiwan’s unique climate and energy usage patterns,
ACCEL SPIRIT has deployed eight BRPV pilot sites across Taiwan since 2022, conducting long-term operations and performance testing to ensure system stability and real-world effectiveness.

 

We’ve taken concrete steps to localize and root this innovation in Taiwan:

  • Established an in-house production line in Tainan, utilizing locally made solar cells and helping advance the domestic photovoltaic supply chain.

  • Subjected BRPV modules to rigorous environmental and safety testing, achieving A-level (non-combustible) fire certification to ensure deployment safety.

  • Completed full-system VPC (Verification of Product Conformity) certification, reinforcing local compliance and supporting the broader goal of national technology self-sufficiency.
